Poor Fitz. I do feel rather bad for him since he thinks he's doing the right thing and getting revenge for a friend. Mop-head's hand is swelling rather badly too.

re Racnarath : hopefully this little tussle has a few unexpected twists left in it.
re Arrijas: luckily for Drake, Joan's presence doesn't completly warp reality, just nudges it in certain directions. Things like running into Teddy's whole mess with the villagers instead of just passing by is probably her fault because she makes coincidences like that more common, but she can't do things like change a person's personality (and make the mob suddenly be friendly and leave). It's a good idea to keep an eye on what she can and does do though, because it'll be becoming more prominent as time passes.

re Delta_end64: I always thought of torches as being like clubs…only on fire. I'm not realy sure if trying to set a dragon on fire would work all that well, but they are on rather hefty chunks of wood. Even with that though, you're right. They are horribly armed, but at least they've got some decent leadership now.
re Vendrus Sci: Rachel's probably regretting trying to be unique and grabbing the hoe instead of opting for the pointier pitchfork option.
