no, Fitz's dad doesn't have super speed, he's just lucky in having a weapon that's good for speed and control. All he really needs to do to attack is move his wrist and forearms a bit, which makes him much faster than the guys wielding weapons that you really had to wind up and swing. Knowing what he's doing helps a lot too, but Teddy seems to think he has things back under control.
I really shouldn't have dressed Teddy in a white shirt, the bloodstains are getting sort of irritating.
replies: re Tali_demonic: Teddy's thoughs are probably running along the lines of, "wait, humans are supposed to be easy to kill, what's going on? ah, now I've got it again."
re JillyFoo: all too true, luckily some ran.
re Racnarath : he was just startled, up until now he's being taking down folks with one hit. He's still running on adrenaline, so the "monster" mentality isn't going to back down, if at all, until he's not being threatened.
re Mimarin: the problem is that it doesn't fit with the framwork of the story…prehaps a shot spinoff, I have gotten really attached to him, his dad, and mop head.
re Rina_ran: nope, just ran into someone who knows what he's doing. but he's getting the situation back under control. (and I adore the scarf, why else do you think I've been keeping it so clean?)
re ce33: if you're starting with when the villagers showed up, quite a while since Drake stalled a lot, but if you start with when Teddy snapped, yeah, around five minutes probably.
re Peipei: yeah, I think I'm starting to freak out my roomates, I've realy got to stop working on pages while they're around.
