And Teddy just keeps waking.

Drake isn't allowed around depressed people anymore.

I plan to redo the rest of the first couple of pages in the same style

re Mina_Lunga : I am glad that people do seem to be feeling more pity for the old guy now though. At first folks didn't seem to like him much, which I found unfair since he's trying to do the right thing, despite how much it hurt him personally.

re Cthonic Cultist: cold iron is more of a danger for solifidians like fae since its in their myths that cold iron features most prominatly (and the wider the beleif the stinger the impact on reality and thus the weakness). Iron isn't something that solifidians tend to be fond of, but it's not particularly dangerous to creatures like Drake, because dragons tend to have more issues with things like swords and exploding peat sheep decoys.

re Kikaru: it's be like us touching something very hot. he can't hang onto it, but he touch it briefly, and he could grab it through the cloth (like oven mitts). It's not easy, but the necklace is important enough for him to take the time. He was wearing it at the time, which was unfortunate, but at least he heals fast.

re worstcase: and Drake isn't exactly helping matters.

re Frostflowers: yes, orriginaly it was just werewolves, but recently I've noticed it showing up a lot in vampire stories. It's not as wide spread a beleif, so it's impact on reality isn't as strong as things like crosses, but its still powerful enough to make touching the neaklace very uncomfortable for Teddy.

re Leyote: sometimes, for lesser know beleifs, like iron it can vary between individuals, depending on things like the regions their from and their bloodline.
