looks like Drake is in the habit of randomly jumping knights and stealing their stuff.
lots of graffiti on the walls.
"zombiesushi" refers to a group of friends and I who do comics.
"badwolf" is a Dr Who referance for all those british sci-fi fans out there.
The greek is a quotation of plato's about money bringing war, probably written by some rich merchant kid with the education to know greek and an axe to grind because dear old dad is always away on buisness.
"death to Aspis, Death to the King" is pretty straitforward. Someone's got a problem with their king.
replies:
re Rina_ran: yup, wants to at least look like he's diligent. night watch may be a crappy job, but at least it's a job.
re silverdragon1: It's all future and post-apocalyptic, so the cultural parallels are all scrambled. physically they're in what used to be the United States, but culturally it's gone all the way back to feudal europe, maybe a bit of colonial Britain, and some Greeco-Roman stuff.
re worstcase: ah the life of having a crappy job, he should have stayed in school and become an accountant or something.
re Mina_Lunga: I'll keep an I eye on his ribs in the future. Drake's got a good amount of money with him (dragon's always seem to have piles of gold just laying around) although they did take their glasses from his dad, which are pretty expensive.
re Stig Hemmer: I imangine it's more of a friendly banter. They spend half their day just standing around talking to each other, so they have to know each other pretty well by now.
re NPC_Girl: I'll have to give that a try next time I need to make quick corrections.
re rekul: thanks
re ce33: I draw the hard copy with pencil only, then ink it on the page on photoshop with my tablet (7-9 pixel width on photoshop) then use layers to color. It takes longer than inking by hand, but makes the coloring so much easier for me.
re: Elaine: probably just a little nervous. Big cities with walls aren't a good idea for gypsies.
