Dragons can use some of their shape-shifting abilities to patch themselves up, but it's fairly limited. It's never as strong as healing naturally and they can't mend too many injuries at once, but it's a decent temporary solution until their body has the time to mend itself properly.

re Mikat: I know what you mean, I've been itching to trace back my ancestors too. I did find an autobiography that my great great (great?) grandfather wrote, which is pretty cool. Right now they're in France (Brittany is a region in NW France) which is my ancestral homeland.

re Kikaru: thanks, I wanted her to be all stoic and soldierly about the boo-boos, so I really had to show that yes, they are pretty serious in that first panel since she really isn't going to be making a fuss over how bad they are.
