phew, sorry about the wait guys, I was incredibly unproductive over spring break, which really shouldn't have been a surprise.

uh-oh, better hurry home guys.

If you are wondering why Drake is being so dubious, keep in ming that this flashback is set during the early medieval ages, so human technology is quite primitiva making such an undertaking difficult to coordinate (but not impossible) and while dragons do see humans as threats, it's as individual opponents in single combat. Thinking of them attacking as a group would be as if someone told you that tigers had suddenly started hunting humans in packs or something.

re Youki: yeah, Drake was always snarky, but not quite so relentlessly so back then.

re Kikaru: sorry, the timeline's a little confusing. this is all taking place in the early medieval ages. The war with humans in the prologue is a little bit after our modern time.
