re Mina_Lunga: if they were humans they would probably be worrying about warning the others, but dragons aren't quite so communal minded. Someone crosses them and the first thing they want to do is hit them back, they aren't going to be worrying about others. In pursuing this impulse Drake will certainly benefit from working with someone who has been forced to sit out the irrational stage of anger and actually think out how to exact revenge. Brittany was always the smart one anyways.

re Kikaru: The odds aren't staked as much against them as they were for the dragons attacked in the caves, but yeah it's a big challenge. Of course, without their families these two aren't all that worried about survival, just doing as much damage as possible.
