re Annhialator: well, given that its a Christian story, this whole ending bit doesn't really fit the story well, so it will get glossed over and dropped with time. for them the important part was the slaying of the paganism/devil dragon

re Mykell: well, looks like he decided to follow it up with…more revenge! Drake might not be the most creative individual.

re taltamir: yup, it would be a pretty empty victory after all if George just got to go to heaven after this, so Drake did the best he could to shake his faith.
