re johndekut: I thought about what to do about clothes and transformations for a while, and decided that they should be able to transform with their clothes, if for no other reason than it would be a serious hassle to deal with the "oh no, I must find clothing" thing everytime they changed shape. It's a less natural form of shapeshifting for them and it take a while to learn but they're willing to invest the effort because one big advantage of a human form is that it blends in, and that doesn't work so well when you're running around naked
