Teddy, stop getting your emo everywhere

ok, trying out a new approach that involves not inking to try and cut down on time. the line quality is a bit grainy but I should be able to get back to weekly updates doing it (didn't happen this time due to some family drama, but all is better now).

Also, been chatting about Twilight a lot in the comments due to the series…hilariousness, so thought that I might share an amusing little anecdote. For the 5th anniversary of Katrina I was down in St Bernard's Parish (one of the areas that was obliterated and is still struggling to come back)and ran into one of the actors (One of the 13 year old girls on the scene informed me he played Eliot, one of the siblings). He was also down there building and came to the welcome home party for a young girl who had just spent her summer working hard to rebuild her house and was a huge fan. She had been getting volunteers to leave their handprints on her wall and he added his, indulged the few fans there by signing some stuff, and then kept a low profile and chilled with the rest of us. I thought that was pretty classy. Also, doing service in New Orleans is always so fun. They throw parties and feed you everywhere, and its delicious.

replies:

re alejkhan: thanks ^_^ motion is something that I'm really trying to work on.

re Selyne: :0

re Cthonic Cultist: It's a good question. They're using the standard gear, which was designed for field work with the goal of keeping viciously strong opponents as far away as possible. Because this unit in the city was meant to be a political icon instead of functional they were left with the more iconic and less practical gear. Field units also carry crossbows but while the city unit is issued with them the king would be seriously upset with them if they started carrying such high end weapons on his streets. Basically they're not meant to be that functional. The king doesn't want a powerful military force wandering his streets. They're just there to be shiney. Running into Teddy was a bit of a fluke.

re Youki:but being around when needed would be considerate and responsible, and he can't be seen doing something like that.

re ghostrunner: thanks ^_^
