Welcome to the first official scheduled update of Hyper Crust!

I’d like to welcome everyone who arrived from Keyguard Active. For those of you who ended up here by other means, keyguardactive.com for my five days a week slice of life comic strip.

For the people reading who care about the technical aspects of strip creation, I’m doing things differently with Hyper Crust than with any other comic I’ve worked on. Up to now I’ll write out a detailed script of what will happen and who says what in a given panel. Not this comic. Here I start with a general idea of what I’d like to see happen, then I just start drawing. When it’s all scanned, colored, and the panels are arranged, then and only then do I do any actual writing. I don’t know if it shows, but to me it gives the strip a whole different feel. We’ll see how long this lasts.
