Yes, Firilis Gunner has both Super Strength and Super Durability as part of her powerset (she doesn't have this in City of Heroes). She wouldn't be able to do what she did to that drill otherwise. However, she hates using her superstrength powers; I'll do a story on that one day.
While she prefers to use her guns in combat, there are times when she really REALLY has to punch, bend or break something with her bare hands. Don't ever let her get mad at you…
