WOO! Wall of text! I had to edit QUITE a bit, but this should be the last page like this for quite a while. I swear I will get this comic back on track, ASAP. This is the Reader's Digest version of the motivations of Team Hades. There will be more elaborations later. MUCH later, probably.
The nerd rage got the best of me for a bit. I don't "HATE" the concept of the 'anti-hero', but I do hate that it isn't defined correctly. Also, I had an online friend and fellow OC superhero creator who was of the mindstate that not only were Villains just 'cardboard cut-out' moustache-twirling crash test dummies for the heroes to punch so that they could be better heroes or whatever, but that they SHOULD be. He seemed to HATE the concept that villains could be actual complex people with individual motivations and felt that they are only valid when there's a 'redemption arc' present to make them "Good Guys". What compounds that (for me) into the realm of (with all due respect) UTTER STUPIDITY, is that he seemed inordinately fond of "Anti-Heroes'.
In short, to his way of thinking: murderers are BAD and must be locked away, but murderers who murder other murderers for the "greater good" are awesome. I disagree, and that was part of the impetus for this comic, in general. Tune in next time when I try to steer this comic out of the Psionosphere and back into meat-space, though it'll take a few pages.
