I'm going to make an effort to finish off this chapter. Hope you guys don't mind the messily drawn car. The car was a rushed artwork anyway.
Off to some irrelevant topic: I'm sure many of you guys have seen reality shows, whereby each contestant who is chosen to be the best will become a star. In China, there's a similar kind of reality competition game show called Who's the Hero. This weekly reality show actually focuses Chinese commoners who get to display their own unusual skills, stunts or kung fu. Some of the skills displayed are shockingly dangerous and beyond human abilities. In order to win the hearts of the judges, some contestants even performed more than one dangerous stunts that would have been recorded in the Guiness Books. Examples of the stunts I've seen so far in this reality show includes:
- Standing upside down on the head (hands free) on top of a big metal spike. - Performing balancing act on a dangerously high unstable platform standing on 2 fresh eggs in each feet without breaking them. - Playing Chinese chess without looking at the board (mind mapping) while memorizing the arrangements of all the names of China States in sequence within a few minutes. - A 105-year-old man who can do push-ups, frog jump and even lift his whole body sideway up from the ground holding onto a pole. - Doing push-ups or doing karate chop on a cement or marble brick with only 2 fingers. - A psychic 12-year-old mongolian kid having the ability to see with the "Third Eye". Meaning, even when blindfolded tightly, he can still sense the surroundings and even recognizes faces. - An ex-postman riding on a bicycle hands free while holding the seat of another bicycle and ride across the neck of the bottles (two rows of bottles - one for the bike he rode, another for the bike he held near him). - Walking bare footed on a sharp 6 to 7 feet long giant blade. - A 3-year-old toddler who can do acrobatic and bend her body like a professional acrobat.
There's more stunts not listed here. Watching this show kind of open my mind that China truly is a martial arts country. As for me, the only skill I probably have is the ability to draw on a piece of paper placed at 90 degrees and the ability to read a book upside down.
