November 30th was my name day. 'kay, so what is name day? In the catholic church, every day is dedicated to one (or perhaps even more?) saint(s). It's a custom in eastern Europe to celebrate one's name day (everyone knows the date, it's in the calendars) and it can be more important than birthday.

So what did my friends give my as presents? Things I always needed but did not even know I needed.

Yes, a pink scarf with a polar bear and a… heck. I even don't know the name in german… in the shape of a monkey.
