I like this stuff being able to blog and have a little comic too…anyways what else…
Finals week this week. Today was my last final, the big one, Chemistry…

Saturday I will turn 20 and might go watch Indy 4

Yay got me a banner!

Now about the page, art righting and all that stuff…

Thank you to valid about the comment on the last page being warm I just wish this page was a little bit different.

This page seems cooler than the previous should have used yellow…

Hmm…sounds effects, I'm not much of an artist so I don't know really what to do about those

Hey a t-shirt with something on it and what is it…hey it's John from my now departed series A-List! (I'm too lazy to do the HTML stuff so… http://www.drunkduck.com/a_list/ ) Hmmm…I really want to write a story with him again…maybe one month challenge…anyways A-List was the comic that kinda developed my "style"

playing around with brushes and selection tool to form backgrounds. Sometimes I like most times I don't

Gradient again…hmmm not too sure about this one though, I really did not know what to put and I thought the art would have made it more cheesy.

well if there's one thing I can be proud of are the colors at least they look nice on an LCD screen, well at least my father thinks so and he still thinks most of my drawings suck…which I kinda agree with him on…

Hmm…been reading Scott McCloud's Making Comics, again, and was reading the part about environments. Some of the things he said

-"These are environments. The places your characters exists within."
-"Take some time to lose yourself in the environments you draw and your readers will too."
-"Too many artists forget this(backgrounds as environments) and become what Eisner called "Slaves to the close up," sticking with the one thing, people, that they;re confident they can draw…Afraid that if they pull the camera back they might have to draw a dozen things they've never drawn before."

I feel like one of those slaves I really skimp out of the backdrops and it truly is because I'm afraid I can't draw backgrounds. Truth is I could barely draw people but that's neither here nor there

anyways that it for this week, don't forget to leave comments and questions, they'll be much appreciated, laters folks.
