Today I decided to have a go at drawing my own pre-raphaelite style image (a knight at deaths door…), it was interesting- I still have a long way to go before I finish it though. I want to really do it in the same style and pay attention to the tinyest details. Im not usually fond of the more realistic styles of painting, but when they are depicting very surreal/fantastical subjects, I quite like that =3 Also I like it when the technique is a little impressionistic/stylized, even if depicting something real. In that sense my fave pre raphaelite is Holman Hunt, who's style is very slightly more impressionist… lol ignore this if you arnt interested in arty farty stuff XD
