Thank you Altprom! Talking of Carmen, you've probably heard the songs even if you havent heard of the opera! There were a ton of songs in it that I had no idea were from Carmen that I've known forever from adverts an stuff :P
Thank you Jonko! I'm always relieved to know that people who are doing fine now were in a similar position after Uni! I thought Carmen would be in Spanish, but it was infact sung in French XD I'm not sure if the original is French or Spanish 0_o I was watching it on a big outdoor tv screen, so we had subtitles at the bottom! But I used to wonder the same thing about operas being in another language, it turns out they show the subtitles on a screen above the stage. If you are into operas they're worth going to see! ^_^ I dont really like listening to them (besides a few favourite arias), but seeing them on a stage with lovely costumes/setting/characters is totally different :D
