I started to draw this page as soon as I finished the first one. Then I hated it. The only part I kept was the first panel, hence the slightly lighter coloring look. This is the first time we see Merric, and being that he is a most important character, I was quite perplexed. My old sketches of him were just not what I wanted. He didn't have the right feel. (I know it sounds crazy) So I ended up spending a lot of time just drawing Merric. This page is the result of that.
Unfortunately, in my mind, he still isn't finished. I think his image will just have to grow as we see his character unfold.
Anyway, long rant, thanks for taking a look! =)
