I grew up with my Grandparents.  We were pretty poor.  My Grandparents were too old to work, and lived off their disability and social security (something I'll never know) checks. 
There was a Muslim family that owned a small grocery store down the street from us.  They would let my Grandparents stock up on groceries.  They kept a tab, sure… but they let my Grandparents pay when they could.
They were really nice people.
I don't think we would have gotten that kind of treatment from Stop and Shop.
I don't understand hatred.
