Funny, as I was making this page, I remembered a friend that I had in High School who ran away from home. I think her name was Makayla? I didn't know her super long. I can't remember how i knew she'd ran away. i think she might have mentioned she'd planned on doing it and then one night I called her house and when I asked her mom if she was there, her mom said, "I dont know where she is!" Not quite as hysterically as Gildan's mom, here. But she sounded like it was the last thing she'd wanted to be asked that night. I think I used to think about that a lot, but it just sort of faded as time went by. I've haven't heard from my friend since.
