if ever a page showed how hard i was trying to improve at this point, this is it. using an extremely limited colour sceme to set mood (for the first time ever) and involving a lot of weird shots, plus the ambulance's red light spilling onto coats, etc. this combined with characters convincingly in the foreground and background was a big step.

not to mention a big step story-wise. time to visit the ghosts of the past.

this also began a long standing joke with myself quoting from the anti-drug film Cartoon All Stars to the Rescue.

"See kid, this is the past! And the past is in black and white, get it?"
