sickly brown. also a lot of small, speedy, quick-to-read panels. i wanted to figure out a way to get across the point that in reality this point in time felt jumpy and jolted, filled with things that kyo didn't even want to think about and just wanted to tune out. and that so many conflicting bits of information were coming in, that he really had no idea what to do.

this would be the point in the story where the narrator reaches their emotional peak, and really should stop narrating. or where something comes to smack them silent.

naturally i chose a smackdown.
