Yes, Vahn's original character design included the helmet because it was easier to draw. But as I developed the character, I decided there should be a reason he's always wearing it.
In case it's not clear, no, Jasper did not see Vahn's face this time, nor has he ever seen Vahn's face up to this point.
OK, news blip: no update this Saturday. There's a few personal projects I need to deal with on my end, which will keep me from finishing a page in time for Saturday. My apologies for this, but I don't think it can be avoided.
