Of course you remember that ARA is short for Adrenalin Rush Attack.

As an FYI, there are actually two types of diabetics, Hyperglycemia
the high blood sugar type and Hypoglycemia , the low blood sugar type, which is what Alex is.

Ghostrunner: I did not intend for him to look or act like David Hasselhoff.
But, now that you mention it he is somewhat like Knight Rider, the show that greatly influenced me as a young girl. However, let me mention that there is no "April Curtis" or "Bonnie Barstow" (KITT Mechanics) Alex does his own work, his car is not a self aware computer, and he certainly doesnt drive into a semi when he needs something or gets a mission. If I really had to say who Alex is inspired from it is James Bond, (his suave seriousness while on the job) with a little Q (for inventions) tossed in, along with a touch of Michael Knight's likability and ease of joking when off work. " My dad's in there because Alex is goosy, tho not to the same extreme as my Dad. That's the guys that inspired Alex. The ladies who I took a small piece from is as follows: Gadget from the Rescue Rangers in in there, because he is a slight ditz, (which we haven't seen yet) and his inventions can explode on him. Deana Troy is tossed from Startrek TNG for his empathy after effect. My Mom is in him as well, her devotion to me is the same devotion Alex shows towards his daughters. And last but certainly not least, he has my fiery temper, which is slow to spark but goes off with a bang. (Course that that last one applies to another character but I don't want to spoil who it is just yet.) Anyways, I put all those characters in a blender and out came Alex. Anyways, if you want to know more about character in IOX I suggest you use the Ask a Character Thread in my forum. I'll spruce up a quick comic to answer you and post it on Saturday.
