I had this playing out in my mind for over a month. I'm glad to finally get it drawn out. My only problem was having to narrate a little, I prefer to show instead of tell the story but I couldn't figure out how to explain Alex's pose in the first panel without doing so.

If Trainer's animal form looks familiar it's the male version of Xade's but with blond hair. The reason behind this will be revealed sooner or later. That scene too is already tumbling around in my insane mind. :P

Ghostrunner: Neither, they use little, or sometimes large balls of paper called pacpap. it comes in a special, and small package and once they need it then they open it similar to a pop-up box of tissues. Then they reach in and pull out a small handful. Once exposed to Xade's nitrogen rich air, the pacpap expands to its full size, often a bit larger than the foam packing peanuts. Their final shape is completely random, since they are tightly wrapped, chemical soaked sponges, created by a family's magic talents. In their packed form they are the size and shape of this period. Sadly there is no way to return them to the original shape except by the family who made them or a powerful wizard, who can mimic the compression talent.

Note, some Xadians find their fortunes by offering their magic talents to the public as a service, much like Earthlings having a bright idea and it becoming an instant hit.
