IOX Sunday Shorts: #2 Scale Transformed

Turns out that it might take me a tad bit longer than expected, even with the extra panels to get her off. Oh well, it will be before Halloween, Hogan, I promise. Heck, even before the end of the month, if I have any say so. :P

Anyhow, now you see what happened to Miss Scale. Since she panicked and fought the transformation, it was rather painful. Heh, I might do one where the Editor tried for IOX and fled because it was a little too magical for him. Everyone who visits Xade at this time (current year 6135) transforms into their true soul form unless an Xadian wizard overrides the transformation magic, or if they are already transformed. It must be a native because only one who knows the magic laws of Xade can slip them through the loophole.

The reason for this is because of the black hole's radiation, and Xade's air is rich in nitrogen, impossible for an Earth based lifeform to survive for long. Nitrogen, in its pure form, has no smell, so one wouldn't know why they dropped dead. Instead of having dead visitors, the magic of Xade transforms them to where they can adapt. If they are really human in soul, with no animal characteristics, (which is really rare) then only their organs would be adapted to survive on Xade, unless they fought, then the magic of Xade would randomly transform them just to be contrary.

Oh and normal science doesn't work on Xade, so bringing your own air supply wouldn't work, the machine would cease to function, leaving you gasping for air. Xade is just that magical.
