Helping to house sit for my significant others grandparents house, there was a rabbit that decided to sit in their back yard for most of the day beside the base of a tree. He could hear me walk back and forth inside the house as I changed windows to get different views and would actually follow me with his head and ears. I was on the second floor of the house. But so long as I sat quietly he would sit still. This is from the dining room window.
