If you don't know what a space hopper is, you should do now! If you still don't know what one is, then I suggest you look it up on Wikipedia. This comic may give a slight inaccurate representation to the true ability of a space hopper.
I never actually owned one in my childhood, but I had a few friends who did, and boy was I jealous. We didn't have enough room in our garden for one, and well, you couldn't exactly bounce around the house in one. This made it a special occasion to go to a friend's house if they had a space hopper. They were that much fun.
