Titanic

Omegatau
on

500 miles off the coast of Newfoundland, over 1,500 lives were lost. At 11:40 P.M. on April 14, 1912, R.M.S. Titanic struck an Iceberg and opened several small seems over a 300 foot area of her hull. At 2:18 A.M. on the morning of April 15, 1912, the lights flickered and died. She then broke in two between her third and fourth funnels. At 2:20 A.M., Titanic disappeared beneath the waves and into the dark abyss. 705 survivors remained alive on that cold, moonless night 98 years ago.
