43 - Improper Reaction

(almost named improper dancing…after the Electric Six song….which has absolutely nothing to do with any bit of the comic whatsoever.)

I don't have very much to say about this one. i wrote it this morning after getting three hours of sleep before an early rousing to work. (Leif's bi-weekly D&D visit, once again, to blame.) And i had fargo on the brain. (Which happens to be one of Luis' favorite movies…but not exactly for this part.)

I asked myself at the prime of my beginning sigil at the office, "Have there been enough jokes about being someone being physically lodged in a maiming death-instrument (such as a woodchipper), and if not, can i make it funny?" – after realizing that this is another senseless death comic, i reluctantly can still say, hell yes.

i make me laugh.

The only thing really true about this comic is the fact that i was able to play a character that did, what the urbandictionary calls, a redonkulous amount of damage to anything it swung at. (as demonstrated from my pen and paper jargon.) And in a sad, sad sort of way, it did really make my evening quite awesome–In that, a death knight, in the imaginary realm of my brain, was able to skewer the living fuck out of a swarm of ghouls and one big….i don't remember his name, but i call him superghoul, as the majority of the evening was fighting this fucking joker, and his bag of shitty parlor tricks.

I did make the comment about the truck. It was funnier at the time. (And maybe a little more pertinent.) Oh well.

I think this is the last comic before SD comic-con, but i'll try to do a sketchbook or something while i'm out there and upload it as soon as i get back. (I'm not bringing my laptop. It's too finicky for travel's sake, and i don't think the hotel i'm at has Wifi anyway.)
