I wouldn't call it a no-comic...but

Alright, alright. So i've gotten back from four days (scheduled for five…but a long story about the assholes and policies of Delta Airlines made me and Mandy miss preview night, as well as take an unexpected 11 hour detour through New York.) of the biggest goddamned convention ever—and you guys are waiting for swag. (or at least something in comic form, recognizing swag.)

I missed doing a comic on Wednesday, and the sketchbook idea i wanted to do didn't pan out (a certain booth fucker took my good sharpie when signing an Art of Reboot book i picked up–plus, walking around an entire convention center, then to a trolley, made me a bit tired.)–so we're coming up to a regularly updating sunday with….what? a Copout. and not just that—a Magic the Gathering themed cop-out. And even worse, it's a BLUE spell.

There is a comic being worked on right now—i just don't know if i'll have the time to finish it tonight….and it may be uploaded….i'unno, tuesday? it's a two-parter (kinda.) and it generally recaps the spirit of convention going…..in a fucked up roundabout sort of sense. I just got my new 17' Macbook Pro to replace the four year old beaten and battered powerbook i had been using…and i'm still uploading software and such to it. (oh man, is it awesome. especially since i can use Bootcamp and play WH40K Dawn of War on my Windows Partition.)

i'm a bag of excuses today…especially when there's so many good stories to share in lieu of what would be fandom nirvana. (such as meeting the Penny Arcade guys, having Scott Kurtz of PvP clearly (and profanely) bash Penny Arcade in signature form, oh, and of course, meeting Stan 'The Man' Lee TWICE.) More on that later, in the meantime, my ass is glued to the floor, and my fat fingers on my Wacom Stylus.
