49 gave me some problems, because as of the wednesday-friday bracket, i fell upon a gold mine of material. I was tempted to actually do a string of comic #49s and have someone vote on which one they liked the most…but…after review, decided that the other ones, while being awesome, didn't have much to them. (such as the fact that dungeons and dragons is has made the announcement that going into a fourth edition. (a poor decision, in my opinion)but yeah…yet for some reason, it felt like there was something i could seriously say about that that could have been funny….i'unno.)
so i opted for this one. except in real life, this ACTUALLY happened to luis during our wednesday RP night. James was inserted because, well…i think the last time he was in a comic, he kicked me in the nuts or something. (i don't know. i don't read my archive….let alone anything else.) i felt the need to explain the situation with broken typing and, well….yet another greatsword involved incident, and plus, he hasn't shown up for awhile.
luis has still yet to be personified in my comic to my liking–i've emphasized that he's slow as fuck when it comes to decision making (as illustrated in comic #05.) and that he's seriously excitable sometimes (as illustrated in any of the 'OH MAN!' bits of dialogue he's uttered.) he does some seriously funny things that are just difficult to translate in this format.
i'unno. in short, now that i think about it…i hate this fucking comic. maybe it's because we're in the same background as last week's. i'unno. i also think that i'm on a personal mission to cover every inch of this room in blood. (perhaps the woodchipper needs to be moved inside for a very special strip. who knows.)
the amazing dangerfunk, of Catastrophe USA, however has done a most awesome thing and contributed fan-art for the ISB–which absolutely blew me away. (considering that it's fan art by someone who i don't immediately know and have bothered personally for submitted fan art.) i've finally updated my voting rewards to BOTH (that's right, two of them.) submitted pieces, and are available upon your generous act of bumping my comic up in the ranks. :)
incidentally, i totally love fan art…and i do have a birthday coming up, just for those questioning the 'what can i get that bastard without spending any money' ticket. submit it and i will do the honor of placing it as a voting incentive also, (as well as under my website's listed fan art section, plugged here at www.bestfreakinwebsiteever.com.)
the super-special 50 coming soon, and i think the ISB's Sixmonthiversary is on it's way too.
