The announcer is a Grey Guy. They are interchangeable and they are all over. Can't fight worth a damn in the ring though because of conditioning built into their genetics. Other human subspecies are also banned from the ring or are reserved for special events. Males being relatively rare outside of Earth do not participate in the games but often run them. Besides as many aliens have said "who wants to see two male humans fight? The females are so much more vicious."
