Dismemberment other than fingers results in immediate disqualification unless a kill shot decapitation. A battle girl must have better control of her weapon than to chop off limbs left and right. Also, audiences don't want to see a one armed fighter bleeding all over. That's for other leagues. Strikes to the face are also possible grounds for disqualification. No one wants to see noses and ears chopped off. Deft removal of a mask is different. The point to the cuts is not to draw blood until the kill, but to remove clothing. It's become an art as opposed to a hack and slash fest. At least, that is the ideal. Results may differ.
