S.I.G. pronounced SIG or the Security and Intelligence Group is the Aordian state law enforcement and intelligence organization. It's completely unified but not all operatives are active military officers, though Vera did have her commission reactivated for the "Star Strip" mission. Both Sienna and she are inactive officers at this point, but with their transponders on, they are in contact with SIG headquarters. For more information see the Tales of S.I.G. comic.
