Before the Forest, part 10

So, I dreamt up this slice-of-fantasy-life comic about a little library (drawing inspiration from my own work as a librarian in a small town IRL) with the characters being funny animals.

The main character was the mouse Mia, the recent rookie. The comic began with her beginning her job. (Yeah, that became Milly). She had 3 fellow employees, a cat alternately named Felicia or Trine (from KATarine), an owl named Ove, and a weasel (not a marten) named Ermmine, but mostly know my her surname Melin (because of a Swedish untranslatable pun).

Yeah, this first was all in Swedish, and it was called "I Bokskogen". "Bokskog" can mean both "beech forest" and "forest of books" (in a symbolic way - the mass of books you have to choose from).

OK, if you have to know: a stoat/weasel in Swedish can be called a "hermelin". "Herr", that's Swedish for "mister", so Ermine's (dead) husband was "Herr Melin". Hahahaha… bleauh.
