Commented Rerun: Book Advice

Last year I told some things about where the comic came from,
and posted old drawings.

I'm going to do a repeat of that this autumn. For a month you'll get the first strips - with comments - while I work on a project of sorts.

One point of the comic is that it sometimes is directly inspired by my day job as a librarian. That is often easy, because you have something to build on. It is also unfortunate, since in a service profession many of your best anecdotes about customers are when they are dumb, or rude, or weird…

Public libraries couldn't survive without elderly women who are voracious readers. I salute you!

I don't think the book-loving old hedgehog sow, who has appeared in some other strips, has a name. Any suggestions?
