Commented Rerun: Essential library services

Last year I told some things about where the comic came from,
and posted old drawings.

I'm going to do a repeat of that this autumn. For a month you'll get the first strips - with comments - while I work on a project of sorts.

I'm very proud of Sylvia's facial expressions. I'm less proud of forgetting to shade the first panel.

Libraries are primarily associated with providing literature, but are to a great extent used - by the public and by the politicians who fund them - for other things. However, some librarians, like Sylvia (and me) think it's more fun when questions actually concern the classic books.

(At least sometimes. We'll soon see how Sylvia is painted as somewhat lazy!)
