These are my two dogs, Jake and Bo. I loved them very very much, the only dogs I ever loved this much. We have two other dogs now that are named Hank and Jack but I can't help but feel a severe distaste for them.

Bo is the black lab down in the corner. I wanted a picture of both of them together and this is the only one I could find on such short notice. He died about three years ago when he was eleven. He had cancer. Thankfully he died in his sleep.

Jake is the black lab/ golden retriever mix up at the top that you can see the entirety of. My mom and dad got him when he was a puppy about a year before I was born. He died this morning of old age. He was fourteen, going on fifteen. I only just found out a half hour ago while we were having coffee in the Border's cafe. My brother is in the other room crying.

I told you all that I was working on the new pages for this comic but I guess I'm gonna take an even longer hiatus and I'm sorry. I just can't deal with it right now. I tried not to cry about because I knew he was in pain he was so old but I'm finding it increasingly difficult to keep from doing just that.

I posted this up because I thought that they ought to be remembered since they were some of the sweetest animals I had ever come acrossed and probably always will be. I guess I'll talk to you guys sometime tomorrow when I can talk without breaking down.
