So i have recently got back into reading American made comics. I blame Linkara from Thatguywiththeglasses really. But yea. Today i spent hours in the bookstore reading. I am quite happy with the current Teen Titans roster. It has the new Blue Beetle, STATIC (Like from static shock), Slade Deathstroke's daughter Ravager, and three other people who i dont really care about. okay actually i only like the first three from it but still! That and Green Lanturn are the only DC ones i am reading right now, since Blackest Night is coming up and the big awesome War of the Rings (okay thats not what they actually are calling it but still) is coming up. Oh and this month Hal Jordan totally gets an arm ripped off by the guy who leads the Orange Lanturns (yes. it is a big rainbow colored lanturn war)

Anyways, on to Marvel. Mostly I have been reading Civil War so i can catch up on all the major world changing events that have been going on in the marvelverse. but in the stuff going on right now, Dark Reign is going on. Basically during Secret Invasion (the major event after Civil War) the Skrull take on the forms of all the superheroes and some stuff happens that im not sure about since i havent got there yet. But anyways, afterward SHIELD is disbanded and replaced with HAMMER, a corrupt version of SHIELD pretty much. HAMMER has hired their own team of "Avengers" which is made up of a bunch of "reformed" supervillians led by Norman Osbourne, who is the "Iron Patriot" (he basically has a Iron Man suit painted red white and blue). His team consists of Venom pretending to be Spider Man, Bullseye pretending to be Hawkeye (the original Hawkeye is going under the name Ronin now), Wolverines angsty son is pretending to be his dad, a few others i didnt recognize, plus Ares the Greek God of War, and some guy who used to be a regular Avenger. in the rest of the marvelverse The real Avengers have teamed up with Dr Strange to find the new Sorcerer Supreme (who is apparently the spawn of satan) and Spidey has the chance to kill Osbourne, until he gets a call from Harry saying that he will join his father working with the avengers, because some girl who he was in a relationship with is who is using goblin syrum is preggo with Harry's baby. Nick Fury is putting together a team to take down the Dark Avengers and HAMMER. Oh and Storm's dead.

Although the recent highlight for me was reading "Deadpool versus the Marvel Universe". it is basically the last few issues of Cable and Deadpool, after Cable had died in something or another that i havent looked into yet. It starts off with Deadpool and Bob, Agent of Hydra trying to bust Weasel out of a Hydra base that Wolverine is trying to destroy. Weasel has a suit that lets him teleport places and Wolverine breaks it, sendind Deadpool and Bob back to WWII Germany where they meet Captain America. After hilarity insues, Weasel uses the Fantastic Four's equipment to send them foreward a few decades into the middle of the Baxter Building, more hilarity ensues until they explain what is going on and that times FF help Deadpool and Bob while Weasel and the current FF (with Black Panther and Storm replacing Reed and Susan since they are having marital issues due to Civil War) also try to help. This leads to a big Fantastic 8 team up to save the Merc with the Mouth. After things get back to normal, Dr Strange hires Deadpool to go kill some stuff in other dimensions. his reason for doing this is to bring back T-Ray (deadpools arch nemesis) back to life with the help of some Voodoo guy whose name i forget. Deadpool and T-Ray have a big fight in their minds and T-Ray is revived. Deadpool is then sent to the Savage land to team up with some guy for something not important, except in the middle of the fight a bunch of Dinosaurs get teleported to downtown manhattan, where they are taken over by Venom symbiote. the final issue of the book has deadpool teaming up with pretty much every marvel superhero to fight the Venomsauruses. He is given a special lance thingy by Cable (who is apparently back to life) that kills the symbiote but not the dino. at the end Deadpool gets infected by a symbiote, resulting in the greatest two pages ever. basically the symbiote infected 'pool is riding a pteradactyl fighting himself until he stabs himself with a spear. its pretty amazing. And so are you for reading all that. congradulations.

Oh and I might be going to the same college as Nick.. Odd
