No, I didn’t buy all three editions of Halo 3. I was tempted, but in the end settled on the Limited Edition with a bonus DVD and art book, even though I sometimes wake in the middle of the night with a burning need to have the Master Chief helmet on my desk.

I haven’t had a chance to play the game all that much, but what I have played is fantastic. The first few levels gave me some Halo 2 deja vu, but after taking down my second AT-AT-like Scarab, I’ve felt like this is the true successor to Halo 2, and I haven’t even gotten to the multiplayer, yet.
