I wrote this as an aftermath of Ondoy, for it was hard to ignore how much such a huge storm could affect so many people. I feel lucky to this day that I was in Singapore when it happened, and that my family is safe in the high mountain provinces. My friends, most in Manila, were not so lucky. Their perseverance however has shown everyone that survivors are an epic kinda people :)
