I'm excited. I'm 5 Jix comics away from 100! Jix is already (for quite some time) my second longest running webcomic, Dragon City being the first. Don't know if I mentioned it last time, but I've been saying that the 100th comic is going to be Paul and Lauren's wedding, that's half true. It'll take place at their reception. I figured if I was writing it and I'm more interested in the reception (and honeymoon, though I won't show it. HA HA!) then that's what I'm doing. Sorry, next time you write a webcomic about a blue alien's roommate getting married, then you can do the wedding and not the reception.

On second thought, DON'T write a webcomic on a blue alien. That's my schtick.

Regarding this comic, though, in both Jix and Romulos's cases, I wanted a remnant feature from them, so I decided on blue and red hair and then I gave a bit of spike to Rom's to signify those weird Sonic the Hedgehog things on the back of his head. What I didn't do that I wanted to do was the inverted eyes. I decided that he was weird looking enough as a chick that I didn't want to draw even more attention to him by inverting his eye colors.
