I realized several things when I made this strip:

1) My sense of humor is kinda dark.
2) Romulos/Dyonus both displayed the first indication that the Ambis are a violent race (you know…despite their fierce modes)
3) You don't mess with Jix/Remula if you want to live.


The reason I made that creature bat-like was because I was originally wanting to make that a smaller version of the Cloverfield monster only to discover that I couldn't draw it, despite having a full body picture of it readily available, so I did the next best thing: bat-like. Hell, the Cloverfield monster looks like a wingless bat, anyway.
