So they put the IV and heart monitor on when he was just muscles. They popped off when the skin formed.

Also, if you wondered if Ambis have fur, I think this answers that.

The silver things on the doctor Ambis's ears are to hold his ears back. They are probably not very comfortable and you can see the back tips starting to come back up. These are there to make Kelelder's follower more like him.
