You can blame my friend Mojo for this comic and the one before it. It came about from a conversation with him. He wanted to see Jix freaked out by an Ambis pelt. And the last one came about from the same conversation. Kind of a different interpretation of the same idea.

I promise Monday we go back to the normal plot of this arc.
