A little back story here: This universe's Aranis was never almost killed by Dyonus, so the Vengeance arc doesn't exist for her, which means she never destroyed her golden armor. The reason she has her red armor on in this universe is that she decided she wanted a change of pace (and a change of armor) around this time and bought a new set of armor.

Think of it like a ripple effect. This is a minor thing, but one Aranis buying new armor might cause other universes' Aranises (or whatever) to buy new armor. Much like throwing a rock into a pond causes the concentric rings.

I guess it's when one person has a choice, the others would have similar choices. Another Aranis would buy blue armor, another would keep her old armor after shopping for new, for example.
