383. Aranis 12: Thanksgiving Dinner

This is the one and only time I've ever worked a holiday or special comic into a story arc and I'm quite happy that it turned out the way it did considering we're in the middle of a story arc.

Monday, I went to the house of a friend's friend and there was this German Shepherd there…I've compared the head and ears of Ambis to multiple animal types, but with the snout length, the snout shape, and the ears, Ambis seem more like dogs…though…again…I'm thinking they're more like cats otherwise. It doesn't matter…they're aliens.

Either way, I also figured out that I could look at ear movements of the German Shepherd to get the right emotion for Jix's ears rather than my cat's ears.
