406. Queen 01: The Arrival

I decided to try something a little different on this one and I think I like it. Sure, the characters look different from this angle, but they're recognizable, I think. I really like how pregnant Lauren's hair turned out in the latter two panels.

One of the things I liked about the Colony arc was the interaction between the two Laurens. Well, the pregnant one isn't in some of the latter comics of this arc, so we get their interaction all up front and I wrote quite a few of them together.

By the way, I was watching the second Ghostbusters while drawing the first two panels. I know, I know…Stay Puft is from the first Ghostbusters, but he's more memorable than some of the things in the second. Guess I could've drawn the Statue of Liberty taking a swim.
